 The only man with a particular set of skills is back in “Taken 3.”  Liam Neeson reprises his role as Bryan Mills, the role that further set him up for worldwide stardom – a retired CIA agent whose enemies keep on preying even after he retired from the service.

                In “Taken 3,” Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered.  Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his “particular set of skills,” to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now – his daughter.  “Taken 3” also stars Forest Whitaker and Maggie Grace is back in action as Bryan’s daughter.  

 

                In recent interviews, Neeson shared that in the movie, “I have to go on the run, I’ll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities.  Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him.  They must not like me.  This time, no more travelling, if my daughter was taken again on a trip, Bryan would have to be certifiably locked up for bad parenting.”

“A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST” Exclusive at Ayala Malls Cinemas Soon

Universal Pictures' new comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West” starring Ted McFarlane, Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson and Neil Patrick Harris will be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas nationwide starting September 10, 2014.

Seth McFarlane (“Ted,” TV's “Family Guy”) once again stretches the boundaries of comedy and propriety as writer, producer, director of and actor in “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” He tells the tale and plays the lead in the story of Albert Stark, a soft man in hard times who is trying to figure out how to escape this godforsaken frontier that seems to be trying to kill him—and everyone else in it—at every turn. A sheep farmer whose fickle girlfriend, Louise (Amanda Seyfried), leaves him when he backs out of a gunfight, Albert feels like a chump.

LIAM NEESON’S Dangerous Affair with the “THIRD PERSON”

From Paul Haggis, director of Oscar winning film “Crash,” comes “Third Person” starring a powerhouse cast led by Liam Neeson, Olivia Wilde, Kim Basinger, Adrien Brody, Mila Kunis, James Franco and Moran Atias that tells three stories of love, passion, trust and betrayal.

                The idea for “Third Person” started within days of finishing shooting The Next Three Days, Haggis’s last film.  It began with a series of conversations between Paul and actress Moran Atias, who suggested Paul should write a multi-plotline film about love and relationships. Shared stories and painful and joyous anecdotes about love and relationships turned into fiction over the next months as the characters took form and the stories slowly found shape.  Paul found this the most challenging of his screenplays “because I wrote it all wrong, from the inside out.  I let the characters tell me where the story was going, and often they just wouldn’t speak to me – or worse, they lied to me” he said with a wry smile.

                Haggis enjoys exploring complex characters,  “While we don’t often see it in movies, I believe people often take actions that are completely contrary to their needs, and make little to no sense to those around them.  How often have you seen a friend and asked ‘why is she with that horrible man?’, or vice versa. Sometimes they are too close to see what is so blindingly clear to us.  And other times what is clear to us is simply a mirage.  We think it’s the awful woman using the lovely man, when in truth the lovely man is just much better at hiding his crueler intentions”.

                “I had all sorts of questions about relationships that I couldn’t answer.  Like how do you deal with an “impossible” person?    Do you try and get what you need by changing them?  And in the rare event that you succeed, do you change them into someone you no longer love?     Or if you know in your gut that someone is lying to you, what are your options?  What happens if you decide to trust a totally untrustworthy person?  Is complete belief transformative?      Do people come to embody the virtues or sins we imbue them with?  In matters of love, do you only truly win if you surrender?  Or does the victor just walk away with the cruelest of smiles, as our egos will warn us?  And if some of us are doomed to only fall in love with the wrong person – is that wrong person really the right person, we just can’t recognize it?  As you can see by these questions, in relationships, I am that impossible person.”

                Reminiscent of Paul Haggis’ “Crash,” the tales play out in New York, Paris and Rome - three couples who appear to have nothing in common and only tangential connections. But there is always a third person in any relationship -- perhaps not romantically, perhaps you aren't even aware of their existence, but they are there.  At its heart, Third Person is much more than a collection of love stories -- it is a mystery; a puzzle in which truth is revealed in glimpses, and clues are caught by the corner of your eye -- and nothing is truly what it seems.

                “Third Person” opens on June 18 in cinemas nationwide from Axinite Digicinema.

WILL FERRELL, LIAM NEESON Joins LEGO Movie Cast

Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie are the latest stars to sign on for the new LEGO® feature film adventure, currently in production. The four will join Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Morgan Freeman in voicing characters for the upcoming original 3D animated film, set for release beginning February 7, 2014, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures.

The first-ever full length theatrical LEGO movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Ferrell (“The Campaign”) stars as the voice of Emmet’s primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Neeson (“Taken” and “Taken 2,” Oscar nominee for “Schindler’s List”) stars as the voice of the president’s powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet. Offerman (NBC’s “Parks and Recreation”) takes on the role of a craggy, swaggering pirate obsessed with revenge on President Business and Brie (NBC’s “Community”) plays a sweet, loveable member of Emmet’s team with a powerful secret.

Chris Pratt (“Moneyball”) stars as the voice of Emmet. Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”) and Elizabeth Banks (“The Hunger Games,” Emmy nominee for “30 Rock”), will star as two of Emmet’s fellow travelers: Vitruvius, an old mystic; and tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest. Lucy also calls upon the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure voiced by Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, “30 Rock”), with whom she shares a history.

The 3D computer animated adventure will open nationwide on February 7, 2014.

Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (“21 Jump Street,” Golden Globe nominee “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”) are directing from their original screenplay, story by Dan Hageman & Kevin Hageman and Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, based on LEGO construction toys. The film will incorporate some of the most popular LEGO figures while introducing several new characters, inviting fans who have enjoyed the brand’s innovative toys and hugely popular video games for generations to experience their visually unique LEGO world as never seen before.

The film will be produced by Dan Lin (“Sherlock Holmes,” “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”) and Roy Lee (“The Departed,” “How to Train Your Dragon”). It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.

Revenge Between Two Fathers in TAKEN 2

“TAKEN 2” braces for a down-to-the-wire action sequence between two fathers, one exacting revenge and the other trying to keep his family alive. Liam Neeson reprises his role as Bryan Mills, a CIA operative with an unmatched set of skills who is pitted against Murad (Rade Sherbedgia) who in turn is hell-bent on taking down Mills and the rest of his family for the death of his son in Bryan’s hands.

“TAKEN 2” reunites Neeson with his co-stars Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace, who play Bryan's estranged wife and his precious daughter. “Bryan's a total superhero,” says Janssen, weighing in on what made audiences connect with the first film. “TAKEN really came at a time when people needed that in their lives, because it's about family and protecting your family. He's a very American hero.”

 As heard in “Taken 2’s” trailers, Murad’s line “He slaughtered our men, our brothers, our sons. We will find him. We will have our revenge,” sets the tone for his role as the movie’s lead villain. Acclaimed character actor Rade Sherbedgia takes on the role, which director Olivier Megaton promises is “a far cry from your typical bad guy. Murad is pursuing Bryan for a big and very fair reason, which is that he wants his justice for his son, who died at Bryan’s hand.”

Maggie Grace: Like Father, Like Daughter in TAKEN 2

Hit action director Olivier Megaton heats up the action arena with twice the thrill, action and carnage in the upcoming sequel “Taken 2” where the first movie cemented Liam Neeson as this era ’s most relatable action hero being a family man keen on saving his daughter at all cost from human trafficking.

From the first movie where his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) had been abducted by a cartel of human traffickers, “Taken 2” now follows Bryan Mills and his family at Istanbul where the father of the cartel’s leader is out to avenge his son killed by Mills during his daughter’s rescue. With Mills and his wife abducted this time, Kim tries to save them at breakneck speed taking cues from his father’s infallible timely instructions to track them down.

Multi-faceted Liam Neeson was known as Bryan Mills, the embittered former CIA man forcing his way into a dark sex cartel to save his kidnapped daughter, in the 2008 hit action-thriller TAKEN. He is now back and is even reunited with co stars Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace with another story in TAKEN 2.





In this latest action-packed reel set against the backdrop of Istanbul, Mills is being followed by the Albanian goons determined to exact revenge on him and his family. In the lead to exact revenge on Mills is Murad (Rade Sherbedgia) who is the father of the kidnapper that Mills killed in the first movie. With Mills and his wife taken, Kim (Maggie Grace) is left to save her parents.


Impossible is equally possible for Liam Neeson and without giving away too much of the movie- Neeson teases that in the movie, “I’m able to, in a very covert way, instruct her to find out where I am being held because a sack’s been put over my head and I’m in the middle of a dungeon. It’s highly impossible yet equally possible,” says Neeson from an interview with Empire magazine.

LIAM NEESON is Back in “TAKEN 2”

Shot in Istanbul, Turkey and directed by Olivier Megaton , “Taken 2” reunites Liam Neeson with his co-stars Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace in this rocket-paced action sequel that rivals some of the greatest gun-handlers in cinema history.

Neeson reprises the role of Bryan Mills, a father and an estranged husband who would do anything for his family in the movie. Mills’ daughter having been kidnapped the first time. But he faces a different kind of conflict in “Taken 2.” Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and then systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

The Mystery of the UNKNOWN

From Jaume Collet-Serra, the director of the critically acclaimed thriller “Orphan,” comes Warner Bros.' suspense-filled mystery “Unknown” starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and January Jones.

In the film, Dr. Martin Harris (Neeson) awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife (January Jones) suddenly doesn’t recognize him and another man (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity.  Ignored by disbelieving authorities and hunted by mysterious assassins, he finds himself alone, tired, and on the run.  Aided by an unlikely ally (Kruger), Martin plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he’s willing to go to uncover the truth.

Director Collet-Serra recalls the concept that intrigued him in the early version of the "Unknown" script by Oliver Butcher & Stephen Cornwell (based on the novel Out of My Head by Didier Van Cauwaleart) - was that of someone waking up one day and realizing that he's been completely replaced in the world. 

Liam Neeson plays Martin Harris, the botanist who was replaced by another person in the movie. Together with Liam are two brilliant ladies in the film that helped the movie unravel the mystery.

January Jones, who earned Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations in the category of Best Actress in Drama Series plays Liz Harris, wife of Liam Neeson. After the accident, when Liam found her, she is with another Martin Harris. 

What drawn Jones to the movie was the unique qualities of the story and the enigmatic way her character was written.

“This was something I hadn’t read before; it was so interesting and intricate,” “It reminded me of those old spy movies, with a sense of danger and intrigue, but also a hint of glamour to it.”.

   The German-born actress, Diane Kruger, stars as the Bosnina refugee cab driver  who becomes embroiled in intrigue  when her cab plunges off a bridge and she saves the life of Liam Neeson. 

Diane, like Liam and January likes the script of the movie so much. 

 “It’s really a movie about identity, about what makes us who we are.  Is it our ID?  Is it where we come from?  Is it our objectives?  Really, the movie is an exploration of these ideas; each character has certain things to say about that.  “All the clues are there, sprinkled throughout the script,”
