FOX Launches FlashForward

FOX, the world’s number one U.S. series channel, has launched its latest science-fiction television series Flash Forward via an exclusive press screening to selected members of the media and FOX trade partners at Manila Ocean Park’s White Moon Bar last April 5, 2010. The invited guests were treated to unlimited drinks at the bar and pica pica foods while waiting for the exclusive screening of the first director's cut episode of FlashForward. FlashForward, a big budget sci-fi series in the tradition of Lost, follows the life of a group of people determined to figure out the mystery behind the event that caused the entire world population to pass out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and gets a vision of the future.

The first director's cut episode of FlashForward aired for around 1hr and we immediately followed the second episode on FOX as it was the 2-hour premiere at the same time. It was the highest rated new show last fall season, the show is very edgy and anyone who likes action and sci-fi that likes fast paced. No particular star to look out to because the stars have already made their names already in other fox shows brought by Disney.

TV series fanatics would definitely love the impressive visual effects, the same production element that attracted 12.5 million viewers when it was launched in the US. Catch FlashForward every Mondays at 10pm only on FOX Channel (Sky Cable Channel 50).
