Thriller STOKER Trailer now Playing

In the most anticipated thriller “STOKER” starring Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, Dermot Mulroney and Matthew Goode, a girl named India Stoker treads on perilous grounds as she gets infatuated with a man whom she barely knows.

Directed by Chan-Wook Park (known for his works “Old Boy” and “Vengeance Trilogy”) and in a script written by Wentworth Miller (best known for his ‘Prison Break’ role), Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska lead to unfold a thrilling secret in “Stoker” where a man who claims to be a relative suddenly moves and lives with them after the unexpected death in the family. India Stoker (Wasikowska) is left with her emotionally unstable mother Evie (Kidman) when her father and best friend Richard (Mulroney) died in a car accident. Unconsciously, the misery within her is slowly being replaced by an increased infatuation to a man who claims to be her Uncle Charlie (Goode). When Charlie moves in to live with them, she felt the void left by her father has finally been filled by her uncle only to realize that the man they treated as family may have a hideous motives in the end.

New Images from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" Out Now!

Warner Bros., New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures have just released six new images from “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” the first of Peter Jackson's trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. 

 

 The three films tell a continuous story set in Middle-earth 60 years before “The Lord of the Rings,” which Jackson and his filmmaking team brought to the big screen in the blockbuster trilogy that culminated with the Oscar®-winning “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.”

The adventure follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Sorcerers.

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey, the character he played in “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy, with Martin Freeman in the central role of Bilbo Baggins, and Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield. Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” in “The Hobbit” Trilogy are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum. The international ensemble cast of the trilogy also includes (in alphabetical order) Manu Bennett, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Barry Humphries, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Bret McKenzie, Graham McTavish, James Nesbitt, Dean O’Gorman, Conan Stevens, Ken Stott and Aidan Turner.

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” and the second and third films of the trilogy are productions of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), with New Line managing production. Pictures is handling worldwide theatrical distribution, with select international territories as well as all international television distribution being handled by MGM. “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” will be released in the Philippines on December 13, 2012, with the second film, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” releasing December 13, 2013, and the third film, “The Hobbit: There and Back Again” slated for July 18, 2014.

"The Lone Ranger" Teaser Poster Arrives!

Disney has just launched the teaser poster of its upcoming blockbuster “The Lone Ranger” starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes.

Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

“The Lone Ranger” also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter. Tom Cruise's "All You Need is Kill" to Invade Theatres March 14, 2014

The upcoming epic sci-fi thriller, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt and based on the book All You Need is Kill, will open on March 14, 2014, from Warner Bros. Pictures, Legendary Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. The announcement was made by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

Being directed by Doug Liman, the film is the first motion picture to be shot at the recently christened Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, and began principal photography October 1.

The story unfolds in a near future in which a hive-like alien race, called Mimics, have hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, shredding great cities to rubble and leaving millions of human casualties in their wake. No army in the world can match the speed, brutality or seeming prescience of the weaponized Mimic fighters or their telepathic commanders. But now the world’s armies have joined forces for a last stand offensive against the alien horde, with no second chances.

Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously demoted and then dropped—untrained and ill-equipped—into what amounts to little more than a suicide mission. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an Alpha down with him. But, impossibly, he awakens back at the beginning of the same hellish day, and is forced to fight and die again…and again. Direct physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop—dooming him to live out the same brutal combat over and over.

But with each pass, Cage becomes tougher, smarter, and able to engage the Mimics with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt), who has lain waste to more Mimics than anyone on Earth. New "Godzilla" Movie Stomps Into Theaters May 16, 2014

THE ICONIC MOVIE MONSTER GODZILLA STOMPS INTO THEATERS ON MAY 16, 2014.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have slated their take on the classic Godzilla franchise to kick off the Summer moviegoing season on May 16, 2014.

The joint announcement was made by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, and by Legendary Pictures. Toho Co., Ltd.’s Godzilla franchise contains one of the most widely recognized movie monsters worldwide, including more than 25 films, multiple television programs, video games and book series. Legendary, which has been developing the project, and its partner Warner Bros. will return the character to its epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner.

The project will fall under Legendary’s overall agreement with Warner Bros. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards, who earned worldwide acclaim for his feature directorial debut, “Monsters.” Edwards directs from a screenplay by David Callaham (“The Expendables” films), David S. Goyer (the “Dark Knight” trilogy) and Max Borenstein (upcoming “The Seventh Son”). Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce, along with Roy Lee, Dan Lin and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher will serve as executive producers alongside Doug Davison, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.

A presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd. The tent pole film is expected to be presented in 3D.

Wicked Witch of "Oz the Great and Powerful"

Walt Disney Pictures has revealed new artwork from director Sam Raimi's “Oz The Great and Powerful” that you can view below. The art is said to be the first section of a three-part image and gives a first look at the Wicked Witch.

The fantasy adventure stars James Franco, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis.

“Oz The Great and Powerful” imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. Southeast Asia was ‘all in’ for running as 45,000 passionate runners came together to participate in adidas King of the Road 2012 (KOTR), the only running championship spanning across five countries within the region, clocking an impressive 84km distance – the equivalent of two marathons. As the global leader in running, adidas continued its commitment to the sport by hosting its second KOTR championship in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore. 

Singapore marked the grand finale of the championship with the 16.8km race originating and ending at the city’s newest attraction, Gardens by the Bay. Keira Knightley Makes a Quirky Presence in "Seeking a Friend"

Justin Timberlake "Troubles" the Game in New Sports Drama

Newlywed music superstar and talented actor Justin Timberlake is back on the screen as baseball scout Johnny Flanagan who develops feelings for the daughter (Amy Adams) of a veteran scout (Clint Eastwood), in Warner Bros.' engaging drama “Trouble With The Curve.” 

In the film, Gus Lobel (Eastwood) is an aging baseball scout for the major league team, the Atlanta Braves. Long since widowed and living alone, Gus has embarked on a recruiting trip—maybe his last, considering his age and the changing business—to find a talented young player. He’s joined by his daughter Mickey (Adams), a busy corporate lawyer. The two have maintained a mostly episodic and often strained relationship in the past, which secrets and lies have not helped to mend. As they reconnect and attempt to work out their personal issues, they cross paths and fates with Johnny (Timberlake), an upcoming rival scout, in a season that will be deeply cathartic for all of them.

A New Breed of Bond Women in "Skyfall"

In the new James Bond 007 adventure “Skyfall,” two Bond women complicate matters for the British super spy. They are played by Naomie Harris (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest”) and French actress Berenice Marlohe.

Daniel Craig who plays Bond says “We’ve just been blessed with a terrific cast. The casting of the girls: Naomie and Bérénice – finding two exceptionally beautiful women who are very serious actresses and who are intelligent and work hard. For me, it has been a joy.” 

Naomie Harris plays Eve, a MI6 field agent. “In recent years, the Bond films have featured two girls – one an exotic type and the other a home-grown type. Naomie manages to be both,” says director Sam Mendes.

Eve is a brilliant field agent who’s very independent, intelligent, witty, fun and courageous,” says Harris. “She’s not afraid to stand her ground with Bond, and I think that makes her so much more interesting. “BULLY” Film to Launch Anti-Bullying Campaign

The Jesuit Basic Education Commission (JBEC), in cooperation with Solar Entertainment, is bringing the acclaimed documentary “Bully” to the Philippines. The film, directed by Lee Hirsch, will have a limited theatrical run in November, after the by-invitation premiere on November 13, 6:30 PM, at Robinson’s Galleria Cinema 4.

The film focuses on the alarming rise in bullying faced by teenage students in America. It chronicles the experiences of victims in high schools in Georgia, Iowa, Texas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma, focusing on the cases of Tyler Long and Ty Smalley, both of which tragically ended in suicide.

JBEC will use this powerful documentary to launch the anti-bullying campaign, “Not in Our School,” endorsed by the popular sportsman, Chris Tiu. The advocacy is aligned with the DepEd’s Child Protection Policy which seeks to defend the student from any form of abuse, including bullying. In light of recent local and international headlines about bullying, this film can be a timely wake-up call for all involved: parents, teachers, administrators, and especially students. In addition to its theatrical screening, JBEC is offering several Saturday block screenings in Robinson’s Galleria for schools who want to show the film exclusively for their community.

DJANGO UNCHAINED Character Banners

The character banners of “Django Unchained” has just been officially launched by Columbia Pictures.

 

 The banner individually feature the five characters portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Kerry Washington. 

Due to open in the Philippines early next year, “Django Unchained” is the latest masterwork from Oscar-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.

Set in the American South two years before the Civil War, the film revolves around Django (Foxx), a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive. Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. WILL SASSO Q&A: The Bald Stoogie known as Curly

The all-new motion picture, THE THREE STOOGES, in theaters October 24, is a contemporary take on a trio of time-honored boneheads. The film recreates the classic and iconic Stooge sound effects (including "boinks," finger snaps, and palm claps), haircuts and other Stooge-isms- -- while interweaving them with modern-day attitudes, situations and pop culture references.

In the film, we meet the Stooges as newborn "angels from heaven." That's how the nuns characterize the three toddlers left at their orphanage. But when one of the nuns, Sister Mary-Mengele, receives a fierce eye-poke from Moe, which catapults her into the next county, they suspect the new arrivals are anything but heavenly.

Moving Tale on Family Dysfunction in "Trouble with the Curve"

Academy Award® winner Clint Eastwood (“Million Dollar Baby,” “Unforgiven”), Oscar® nominee Amy Adams (“The Fighter,” “Doubt”), and Justin Timberlake (“The Social Network,” “Friends with Benefits”) star in Warner Bros.’ “Trouble with the Curve,” which marks the feature film directorial debut of Eastwood’s longtime producing partner Robert Lorenz.

In the film, Gus Lobel (Eastwood) has been one of the best scouts in baseball for decades, but, despite his efforts to hide it, age is starting to catch up with him. Nevertheless, Gus—who can tell a pitch just by the crack of the bat—refuses to be benched for what could be the final innings of his career. He may not have a choice. VANELLOPE voice in “WRECK-IT RALPH” belongs to SARAH SILVERMAN

Emmy-nominated comedienne Sarah Silverman lends her voice to Vanellope von Schweetz, a scrappy little girl who’s the first to spot Ralph when he crash-lands in the Sugar Rush arcade-game in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 3D comedy adventure “Wreck-It Ralph.” 

Known as “The Glitch,” Vanellope is a pixelating programming mistake in the candy-coated cart-racing game Sugar Rush. With a racer’s spirit embedded in her coding, Vanellope is determined to earn her place in the starting lineup amongst the other racers. Only problem: the other racers don’t want her or her glitching in the game. Years of rejection have left Vanellope with a wicked sense of humor and a razor-sharp tongue. However, somewhere beneath that hard shell is a sweet center just waiting to be revealed.

“With Vanellope, we were looking for a character that would mirror Ralph’s struggles,” says screenwriter Phil Johnston. “She’s an outsider. The kids pick on her. Nobody really likes her and they exclude her from the races. And all she wants to do is race—to be part of the game—just as Ralph wants to be a part of his community in Niceland.”

New Comedy Finds Love at "The End of the World"

We’ve all imagined the end of the world – along with the attendant floods, fires, earthquakes, pandemic viruses, and the asteroid hurtling towards Earth which will be destroyed at the last possible moment by human intervention of epic proportions. That is not the end of the world as writer-director Lorene Scafaria sees it.

In writing her feature directorial debut, Focus Features' “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” starring Steve Carell and Keira Knigtley, Scafaria was more intrigued by what could happen to ordinary people – and how they would interact with each other – in the days preceding The Event.

Scafaria found herself casting a cockeyed glance at “apocalyptic tradition.” She notes, “I had a small obsession with ‘the end is near,’ and a larger obsession with love. So it became a fun challenge to see what would happen when worlds collide – so to speak. I figured I would keep the screenplay at a very human level in scope and tell a story of relationships; what people would do, and how a person with feelings towards another person would be affected.”

Marvel now reveals the full first trailer of the 2013 action-adventure “Iron Man 3”.

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. “THE GREAT GATSBY” TO OPEN IN MAY 2013

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ “The Great Gatsby” will open early in the Summer 2013 season, hitting theaters on May 10 in the U.S. and Canada, with an international rollout beginning the following week (including the Philippines on May 15, 2013).

 The announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

 Fellman stated, “Audiences have been looking forward to Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of one of the most beloved books of all time, and we felt this beautifully extravagant and dramatic film would be a perfect way for us to kick off our Summer slate.”

 Kwan Vandenberg added, “Baz’s unique take on ‘Gatsby’ is glitzy and glamorous, with his juxtaposition of the classic tale and contemporary themes hitting just the right note. This film should really add heat to the competitive Summer season.”

SEAN HAYES as Larry in THE THREE STOOGES

Caught between accidental and intended hits, Sean Hayes stars as Larry in the hilarious comedy “The Three Stooges.” Spanning more than twenty-five years since they appeared on television slapping and poking their way in 190 original comedies, the Stooges are about to be seen in a whole new dimension on the big screen.

In “The Three Stooges,” Larry, Curly and Moe are released into the wild city landscape after spending half of their lives in an orphanage. Out to save the orphanage and raise the money to save the only home they know, they decide to tackle the world outside the only way they know how.

Starring as the troika of knuckleheads are Emmy® and Tony® Award-winner Sean Hayes ("Will & Grace" ), who portrays the balding, sour-faced, bushy-haired Larry; Will Sasso ("MADtv") as the rotund funnyman Curly, whose trademark "nyuk-nyuk-nyuk" usually invites a physical outburst from older brother Moe; and Chris Diamantopoulos ("24," "The Kennedys") as Moe, the dark-haired leader of the farcical trio known for his distinctive bowl-style haircut and intolerant ire.

Given the Stooges’ iconic stature, casting the middle stooge Larry was as formidable a task as Moe and Curly. The part of Larry, who served as the trio's straight man, was in some ways the most difficult to cast because unlike his two cohorts, Larry lacked a distinctive voice. "It's also hard to define exactly what made Larry so funny," says Sean Hayes, who like Diamantopoulos, attended several auditions to land the coveted role. "He certainly was a great reactor."

"RoboCop" Starts Lensing in Toronto

Production is set to began last September 15 in Toronto on Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures' and Columbia Pictures' “RoboCop,” directed by Jose Padilha. The film stars Joel Kinnaman (TV's “Game of Thrones”), Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jay Baruchel, Jennifer Ehle, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

The screenplay is by Josh Zetumer and Nick Schenk, based on the 1987 motion picture written by Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner. The film is produced by Marc Abraham and Eric Newman, with Bill Carraro serving as executive producer. The film will be released in the US and the Philippines on August 2013.

In "RoboCop," the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before. 

Commenting on the announcement, Padilha said, "It's exciting to think that we're going to be starting production on 'RoboCop.' I have a dream cast and an incredibly creative production team, and we are all supremely dedicated, working together to make a movie that will not only live alongside the first film but also break new ground, be relevant for modern audiences, and stand on its own." ARGO Movie Review

There is so much to tell about Argo, it was hours after watching the movie that I could still feel the fast heartbeat that the movie brought. I honestly love everything about the movie, the actors were all great, the set was very realistic, the story is very interesting, and the direction is very brilliant. The story of “ARGO” opens with explosive events in Iran which caused six Americans to hide and wait for their rescue. The movie basically chronicles the life and death secret operation of CIA top exfiltration specialist, Tony Mendez to rescue the six Americans entrapped in Iran.

A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.

I just love this description about the movie. The structure of the movie is a rescue, a true story more complex than drama that takes the viewers beyond action and suspense. The storyline is fantastic too. The fact that, though it’s utterly absurd, it happened and it turned out pretty amazing. The script is a balance of suspense, thriller and humor at the same time. You would really anticipate the next move and the next decision of the actors. The story is so gripping that til the very end you will be surprised that you are already sitting at the edge of your seat. At a certain point, you can’t imagine it will end well because there are too many things saying it won’t. 

I would have to commend Ben Affleck’s trifecta of acting-producing-directing the film all at the same time. His direction did not affect even his acting in the movie, but even demonstrated his strong point of view as a film maker.

One of the must watch out for in the movie is the Arkin-Goodman shenanigans. They played every line with such integrity that the humor feels innate and never strains belief. (coining the phrase "Argo-fuck-yourself") Their humour balance out the dramatic thriller aspect of the movie.

The production design is perfect, from costume to hairstyle and even to the places brilliantly displayed what to see and expect in the year 1979 onwards.  Oh, I know this is a spoiler but you have to watch and finish until the credits because they will let you see and compare the actors from the original photos/ footages of the actual persons. This is what I like about based on a true story kind of movies and ARGO is one of those.  With a very promising director and actors and a great story, I won’t be surprise that ARGO will line up for Oscars.

THE THREE STOOGES Support Cast

IN “THE THREE STOOGES”

Television’s classic comedy act “The Three Stooges” will soon be seen on the big screen starring everybody’s beloved Glee Cheerios coach Jane Lynch. In the trio-tular character of Moe, Larry and Curly are Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes and Will Sasso who were left on a nun’s doorstep and grew up secluded in the orphanage. Years later, the trio tries to help the orphanage when it is forced to lock doors due to financial difficulties. 

Jane Lynch portrays the orphanage’s Mother Superior who sees the troika as newborn angels from heaven and later employed the three as the foster home’s maintenance men. As they try and save the day, the three engage in plenty of their trademark antics out of their comfort zone to raise funds for the orphanage.

Indeed, while the Stooges' antics are as outlandish and cartoonish as ever, the characters are, as Jane Lynch notes, "just the sweetest guys. They're buffoons and they make huge mistakes, but it always comes from the goodness of their hearts, even as they're poking each other in the eye." To Lynch's point, The Stooges are total innocents. The nuns raise them in a very sheltered manner. "So, they don't really have a concept of what's going on in the outside world," says Chris Diamantopoulos. "They are fish-out-of-water who have never seen the real world or been exposed to anything modern. The only thing they've known is the orphanage."

Apart from Lynch, the filmmakers surrounded the Stooges with an impressive ensemble, including Sofía Vergara,Jennifer Hudson, Craig Bierko – and Larry David…as a nun…named Sister Mary- Mengele. 

Mila Kunis Plays Lori in ‘TED’

Mila Kunis has established herself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after, vivacious and engaging actresses. Since beginning her career in acting, she has already fostered an impressive body of work that includes major motion picture and television roles. It is rare to find that star whose dark eyes and Mona Lisa smile hide impeccable timing and amazing comedy skills; Mila Kunis, though, is that actor. After years on "That '70s Show," Kunis seems to have found her feet with the one-two punch of her work in "Black Swan" and in her new film "Ted," playing the long-time, long-suffering girlfriend of Mark Wahlberg's John, whose best friend is a magical, talking reprobate stuffed bear.

Can you explain why you wanted to get on board this project? You have worked with Seth before.
The truth is that I was about 24-years old when Seth told me that he had this script he wanted me to read. He was looking for some suggestions as to which actress might be right for the part. At that point, the character was in her thirties. I gave him names of some actresses who I thought would be great for the role. Over the next few years, there have been a few revisions to the script and I gave him various names that would fit the revisions. By this time, I was old enough to actually play the part (laughs). Seth said, “why don’t you just do it? And I said okay.

Didn’t you once get a part by lying about your age? 
I was 14-years old and yet to be legally emancipated. I walked into the audition for That 70’s Show and when they asked me if I was 18, I answered, “soon.”

Having worked with Seth on Family Guy, what difference in his style did you see between the two sets?
Well, we have no set on Family Guy. We just go into a recording studio and record our voices. The way that MacFarlane deals with me on a weekly basis for Family Guy is just by talking to me. We have a short hand.

Was there a challenge at all working on this project?
I didn’t have one. It was a great process with people I love, adore and respect. Honestly, my biggest challenge was the weather in Boston. I said it as a joke but it is true. It would go from rainy to cold to windy to humid all in a span of four hours. The weather in Boston sucked. That was my biggest challenge. The people were fantastic though.

“HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA” Grosses P25.42-M in 3 Days, Opens at No. 1

Monsters had a ball at the Philippine box office as Columbia Pictures’ animated comedy “Hotel Transylvania” opened at No.1, with a nationwide gross of a blood-curdling P25.42-million in three days for the Sept. 28-30 frame. This was announced today by Victor R. Cabrera, managing director of Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc.

The family-oriented 3D crowd-pleaser now holds the distinction of having the biggest opening ever from Sony Pictures Animation whose past big hits include “Surf’s Up” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.”
