Disney's “PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE” New Posters

The teaser posters for Disney's 3D animated comedy-adventure “Planes: Fires & Rescue” have just been launched online. Both one-sheets carry the tagline, “When Others Fly Out, Heroes Fly In.”

The sequel to last year's box-office hit “Planes” (grossing more than $200 million worldwide), “Planes: Fire & Rescue” is a new comedy-adventure about second chances, featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire.

When world famous air racer Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his courageous team, including spirited super scooper Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.

Opening across the Philippines on August 20, 2014, “Planes: Fire & Rescue” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

Kelly MacDonald Channels Her Inner Teen for "Brave" (Opens Aug 1)

In “Brave,” Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald (TV's “Boardwalk Empire,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2”) gives voice to the passionate, rebellious teen Merida — the first lead female hero to carry a film in Pixar's 26-year history. And by all accounts, she hit the bull's-eye.

"Kelly has a true Scottish spunkiness in her," says Brenda Chapman, one of “Brave's” directors. "And that really comes through. Princess Merida is a girl with a great spirit. And Kelly is able to depict that. There's a sweetness and an appeal in Kelly that she infuses in Merida. Yet there's a strength. Kelly has it in spades."
“Brave” follows the heroic journey of Merida, a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane).

Despicable Me Movie Review

In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon, yes, the moon. Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

DESPICABLE.  A person to be despised, mean, vile, and destestable. Gru is every thing about the word. I like the how the story went until the very end. I was a bit boring with the first few minutes of the movie, showing everything about Gru, Then the children and the minions came, then the movie is suddenly all but interesting. The movie is very funny and entertaining, specially Agnes and the minions. Kids would love the animation and the effects, even the characters, but I doubt they will really understand the story. It was a very good movie! I recommend you watch it and look for Agnes =)
