Along the busy street of Ermita Manila, amidst the vibrantly lit clubs and surrounded by the busy and fast paced people in the metro, there lies a sanctuary waiting to be discovered.
The Gran Prix Hotel and Suites Manila is a budget friendly hotel that has great access to the Metro’s most notable destinations. Last May 6, a group of bloggers including me spent the night enjoying good food, good company and most especially great place. We started the night with a simple and enjoyable program c/o Jeman of Orange Magazine TV, who also organized the said event.
The bloggers were treated to sumptuous meal by Namayan Executive Chef Gren Mendoza. The Monggo Soup with toasted bread for appetizer was perfect to prepare our tummies for a special main entrée. The main course is Lamb Shank Kaldereta, the lamb is used specially for bloggers that night but in their menu it's the same as Batangas Kaldereta. Last but not the least is the Choco Lava cake with Vinegar Ice Cream. The Choco Lava is perfect with a coffee kick while the vinegar ice cream is one of a kind. Three hoorays for dinner time, (1) I didn't eat rice and yet I'm full to the brim, (2) All the meals are specially made for us, aww so sweet Chef! (3) One of my many first, eating Vinegar Ice Cream!
After dinner, the program continued to a fun "pageant night" like contest to win the coveted Gran Prix Boracay all expense paid trip. Each of the bloggers showed their hidden talents that is best kept hidden. Haha! From 12 bloggers, it was trimmed down to top 5 candidates for question and answer. The question: If you will have a chance to go anywhere in the Philippines, where would it be and why? I wasn't able to answer the question because I was eliminated in my first attempt to show my talent but it's okay. Congrats to Montsch for getting the grand prize!
We were then given the chance to tour the hotel, led by Ms. Rhina Villagracia (Sales and Marketing Supervisor) and check out the rooms and facilities that the hotel offers. Gran Prix Hotels and Suites pride its diversity on providing personalized level of accommodation, services and facilities.

I enjoyed my overnight stay at Gran Prix Hotel and Suites Manila, i have really felt and experience comfort thru the facilities that they have and convenience thru the friendly staff that is very professional and has good customer service. The interiors and exteriors of the place shows the unique style and good impression that make foreigners from other country experience world class service and experience.
After the tour, socials followed at the roof deck and everyone enjoyed each other’s company over beer, appetizer and few videoke songs. I find the staff really personal when it comes to service because even Chef Gren and Ms. Rhina stayed with us till wee hours of the morning. I really appreciate their presence though I know they are already tired from that day’s work.
