Makati Catastrophe! ARGH(4x)!

This has been the famous YM status ko for the day! and everyone is squealing about what is the makati catastrophe is all about, coz they haven't heard anything from the news yet! well, its simply not about Makati.. its simply about me and my collegue Tracy!

This is our first day to report in Makati, as an employee and not as an OJT or an applicant of what sort.. we tried to dressed the Makati way and we tried to be A Makati Girl, so we may not look stupid enough walking sa Ayala Ave.

But then, its not only the Baudelaires who experience A series of Unfortunate Events.. Unfortunately, we had our own Series of Unfortunate Events.

First stop was in the MRT! all the people riding the MRT could have experience the same, being squished and squashed to death by some smelly, stinky people, who don't even care if their stepping on someone else's foot and dragging someone else's bag! ARGH! I'm not supposed to ride the train but then the circumstances let me... i was being squashed by five men at the front of the door ng train and they all make ipit my bag, it was like.. my bag is inside the train and im outside.. but im still holding it! ARGH! so, what happened next was natulak na ko papasok! CRAP!

OH MY! tlga!

After wards SOBRANG HIRAP SUMAKAY SA BUENDIA papuntang AYALA!!! nagtaxi na kmi, para lng hinde ma-late! At pagbaba ng Ayala.. eto na.. nahulog ang istep-in ko sa may gutter sa gilid sa isang some kinda muddle na in other words parang kanal!!!! ARGH!!

So pagdating nmn sa OFC! ARGH PRIN! halos buong araw ay pimulikat ang paa ko sa lamig at sa taas ng heels ko!

i was thinking... God, why do i have to experience this?

i was just asking.. still thanks dahil hindi ako naipit sa mismong pinto ng train, thanks dahil at least may nasakyan kming taxi, thanks dahil hindi ako nadulas sa basa kong istep-in at hindi naumpog ulo ko, thanks dahil may remedyo sa pulikat at hindi tuluyang pumutok ugat ko sa paa.. at thanks dahil YOU help me get through this day.. :) but its stil ARGH!

Dad's email

Dad is so fond of sharing his emails to me, he always forwards meaningful emails and emails about life.. i just want to share the most recent one he sent.. (awhile ago lng!)

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and coffee. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “yes”. The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. “Now”, said the professor, as the laughter subsided. “I want you to recognize this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things – your God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else – the small stuff.” “If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is not room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time t get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. There will always betime to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.” One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. “I’m glad you asked. It just goes to show that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.”

Dad, i like it very much.. you still teach me even if your away, in your own little way. Thanks!

..Soul Music..

Soul Music is a term adopted to describe African-American popular music in the US as it evolved from the 50s to the 60s to the 70s. It was heavily influenced by gospel music and is known for its intimacy, passion, intensity, rhytmic sounds, and spiritual roots. In short, it is the expression of the soul.

Soul Music for a follower of Jesus is the journey of out soul into that beautiful place of sincer expressions of worship to the Lord. What are some characteristics of our soul music?

Soul Music is Intimate. David starts his soulful song with "Praise the Lord" (Psalm 103:1). This phrase is an expression of the intimate relationship between David and Yahweh, the covenant-keeping God of Israel. Soul Music is an intimate expression of love and gratitude to a God who loved us first.

Soul Music is Intense. David's soulful ballad to the Lord is expressed with every part of his life. He is saying that soul music is the intense expression of praise to the Lord that involves the physical, the emotional, and the spiritual - every ounce of personal vitality.

Soul Music is Intentional. Soul music finds its power and passion in intentionally remembering God's blessings. When David thought about his blessings, he could not restrain his soul from singing and giving praise to God.

Soul Music starts from the inside and works outward. If you want your soul to experience the journey of intimate and intentional worship, spend time getting close to God. Remember how gracious, merciful and loving God is, and offer up a sacrifice of praise from deep within you.

*PSALM 103:1-5*

Reuben Morgan.. anyone?!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

:( ouch)
*Direk, na-bless ako sa shinare mong struggle mo for the past week ng pakikipag usap at paghihintay sa sagot ni Lord sa prayers mo.. sa totoo lng andami kong naisip at madami akong naging reflections sa mga shinare mo! thanks tlga! Godbless sa Khazakstan! (tama ba spelling?)

Pagkatapos ng concert, daming nagyakapan, (pero d kmi kasali dun!) daming nag beso, (d parin kmi kasali dun) daming nag usap usap at nagkamustahan, (dun kasali na kmi) parang ayaw pang umuwi ng mga tao.. cguro dahil gutom na sila, cguro dahil gusto pa nila makipag chikahan sa mga long lost friends nila, cguro dahil may gimik pa sila, cguro dahil masyado silang na-overwhelm sa worship.. kakaiba kasi tlga ung experience na mag worship kay Lord thru music ... with other fellow believers! :) Ü
